Food nutrition dataset

A free, downloadable CSV of per-100 g nutrition for 177 common foods — calories, macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals — compiled from USDA FoodData Central. Every row carries its FoodData Central ID, so any value can be traced straight back to the source record.

Download CSV177 foods · UTF-8 · ~37 columns

What’s included

One row per food. Identifier columns (slug, name, category, fdc_id) and the food’s typical serving (serving_label, serving_grams) come first, followed by all nutrient values expressed per 100 g: calories, the full macronutrient set, and 16 vitamins and minerals.

Values are typical figures from USDA reference data and vary with variety, ripeness, and preparation. To convert any value to a serving, multiply by serving_grams ÷ 100.
